Description and applications
This 2 tonne rated flat lifting sling is 2m long and made for general rigging work where a load has to be lifted without marking it. The flat woven webbing spreads the weight over a wide surface, which lowers the pressure on both the load and the sling.
It is certified to AS 1353 and designed with a safety factor of 8:1, so the rated limit sits well below the load at which the sling would fail. Reinforced eyes at each end take the strain where it is highest, and a sturdy identification tag carries the details needed for inspection and compliance.
The bright, dense fabric shields the fibres inside, which helps the sling last longer, and it stays light and flexible enough to position by hand. It suits construction, warehousing and manufacturing work. Check the tag and the condition of the webbing before every lift.
