The Gibson is a versatile wide-brimmed hat designed for those requiring reliable sun protection during outdoor activities. Built for durability, the hat features a high crown and a professional appearance that suits both work environments and casual wear. It is constructed from a single-sided cotton drill fabric bonded to an open-cell foam laminate, finished with a nylon interior lining. The top, gusset, and brim are all crafted from hard-wearing cotton drill to withstand regular use. To ensure the brim maintains its curved profile, a polyester fabric tape is used over a wire edge. This design provides a 9cm brim that shields the wearer from UV exposure. When selected in Large or Extra Large sizes, this headwear meets the AS/NZS 4399:2017 classification for sun protective clothing.
