Description and applications
On scaffold decks, transmission towers and high-rise formwork, a dropped spanner or tape measure becomes a serious hazard to the crew below. The GRIPPS Retractable Dual Tool Holster mounts directly to a tool belt and gives each hand a dedicated tether point so the tools you use most stay attached from the first climb to the final pack-down.
Each side feeds a steel cable that extends when you reach for the tool and retracts automatically when you let go, keeping slack off the deck and out of moving parts. The dual layout means a screwdriver and a podger, or a tape and a marker, can both stay live without tangling. A quick-release buckle lets you swap the whole unit between belts in seconds, so the same setup moves with you across shifts and sites. The low-profile housing sits flat against the hip, reducing snag points on guardrails and ladder rungs.
With two independent retractors in a single mount, the holster suits any trade that works aloft and needs both hands free for climbing. Clip it to your tool belt and the tools stay where they belong , in reach, not on the ground.
- Two independent retractable tethers in one compact housing
- Steel cable extends and retracts automatically with each use
- Quick-release buckle for fast transfer between tool belts
- Low-profile design minimises snag risk on structure
- Suits scaffolders, riggers, tower workers and high-rise trades
