Description and applications
This is the extra large snap-off cutter in the range, made for heavy cutting with 25 mm blades. The blades are 0.7 mm thick, noticeably stiffer than standard snap blades, and the handle is built around them.
A metal insert gives the body strength, and a screw lock clamps the blade at the chosen length so it does not creep back under load. The rubber grip adds comfort and a firmer hold.
It suits thick cardboard, foam, carpet, underlay and insulation, where a smaller cutter tends to flex. It accepts the extra large 25 mm blades sold in this range, both the segmented snap-off type and the solid type, so one handle covers both kinds of work. Used segments and blades go into a blade disposal container.
