The vest protects the wearer by enhancing visibility in low-light or high-traffic daytime conditions. It meets the requirements of AS/NZS 4602.1:2011 and AS 4602.1:2024 for Class D high visibility garments. This ensures the wearer is clearly seen by vehicle operators and machinery drivers. The reflective properties are effective under daylight conditions as specified by the standard.
It is commonly worn by security personnel, traffic controllers, and site staff working outdoors during daylight hours. The vest is suitable for use in construction zones, warehouses, events, and roadside work areas. It functions as a high visibility layer over regular clothing. Proper care includes washing at 40°C maximum, avoiding bleach, tumble drying, ironing, and dry cleaning, with a limit of 25 washes to maintain performance.
