Description and applications
Moving sensitive instruments across rough sites demands a shell that absorbs impact without adding bulk. The Pelican Storm IM2275 answers that need with a high-performance HPX polymer body that resists crushing and corrosion while staying lighter than traditional copolymer alternatives. Its open interior accepts custom-cut foam, padded divider sets or panel frames so technicians can configure the layout for cameras, survey gear, electronics or tool kits.
Daily use is straightforward: press the double-throw latches to seal the tongue-and-groove gasket, lift the moulded handle, and the case is ready for the ute tray, helicopter pod or baggage hold. Automatic pressure equalisation prevents vacuum lock after altitude or temperature changes, and the padlock hasps accept standard shackles for chain-of-custody security. The black finish reduces glare on mine sites and film sets alike, while the integrated stack ribs keep multiple units stable during transport.
Supplied empty for full interior customisation, the IM2275 suits survey crews, broadcast teams and defence personnel who need a waterproof case that travels light and protects heavy.

- Tongue-and-groove O-ring seal keeps out dust and water
- Moulded-in stack ribs for stable multi-case loads
- Padlock hasps accept standard shackles for security
