Description and applications
This is a safety cutter made for double walled cardboard. The blade is recessed in the head, so it reaches the board but keeps clear of fingers and of the goods packed inside.
Besides heavy cartons it also handles single wall boxes, plastic strapping, shrink film and bubble wrap, and the built-in tape slitter opens taped seams without using the main blade. When the blade wears, the head is replaced with a Klever DX-Heads refill and the handle is kept, so only the worn part is thrown away.
The soft rubber grip is comfortable for repeated use at a receiving dock or packing line, where staff open delivery after delivery through a shift. It is made in the USA.
