Description and applications
This is a large snap-off cutter for general cutting with 18 mm blades. A metal insert runs through the body to keep the blade channel stiff, so the knife holds its line when pushing through cartons or packaging.
The slide lock sets the blade length and holds it there. When the tip goes dull, the snapper built into the rear of the handle breaks off the used segment, which keeps fingers away from the edge.
It accepts any large 18 mm snap-off blade, including the tubes of ten in this range. Typical uses are warehouse, store room, office and light trade cutting, such as cartons, tape, film, foam board and packaging straps.
