Description and applications
This storage unit is built for holding miscellaneous dangerous goods in compliance with Australian safety standards. It features a low profile design that fits under workbenches or in tight spaces. The cabinet is made from galvanised steel with a double wall construction for added strength and fire resistance. A yellow powder coated finish provides resistance to solvents and general wear.
It protects against fire, heat, and chemical reactions by containing hazardous materials securely. The self closing door with hydraulic speed control ensures the cabinet shuts properly every time. Internal components like the flash arresters in the vents help prevent flame or spark transmission. The liquid tight sump at the base contains spills up to 150mm deep.
Suitable for use in workshops, laboratories, factories, and maintenance areas where Class 9 goods are handled. It supports safe storage of items such as battery powered equipment, airbag inflators, first aid kits, and solid carbon dioxide. The adjustable shelf allows configuration to suit different item heights. Optional extra shelves can be added to increase storage flexibility.
