Description and applications
This is a safety boot made with polyurethane construction and a composite toe cap designed to meet AS/NZS 2210.3 standards. It features a Kevlar midsole that adds protection against sharp objects from below. The sole is engineered to resist slipping on wet or oily surfaces commonly found in work areas. Despite its protective qualities, the boot remains lightweight compared to traditional PVC options.
It guards the toes against impacts up to 200 joules as defined in EN20345 standards. The slip-resistant outsole helps prevent falls on smooth or contaminated floors. Additional protection comes from resistance to abrasion, chemicals and extreme temperatures, making it suitable for harsh conditions. The material also resists hydrolysis and bacterial growth, supporting hygiene in damp or warm settings.
Ideal for use in concreting, construction, agriculture, fishing and aquaculture industries. It performs well in freezer work where thermal insulation keeps feet warm in cold without overheating in warmer conditions. The welting on seams adds strength where stress is highest during movement. Internal comfort is enhanced by quality inner soles that support long wear during shifts.
