Description and applications
The Pelican 1460EMS is a high-visibility orange pelican case configured specifically for emergency medical services. Its bright colour ensures rapid identification on chaotic scenes, while the watertight seal protects sensitive diagnostic equipment, medications and trauma supplies from dust, rain and immersion during transport.
Inside, the EMS-specific layout features padded dividers and elastic loops that hold syringes, airways, monitors and drugs securely in place. The customisable foam lets crews arrange compartments around their exact kit list, so every item has a fixed position and nothing shifts during rapid deployment. A pressure-equalisation valve prevents vacuum lock after altitude or temperature changes, and the double-throw latches open with gloved hands. The moulded handle balances the load for single-person carry, while integrated padlock points secure controlled substances when the case is unattended.
This hard case suits ambulance services, mine-site medics, event medical teams and disaster response caches where gear must arrive intact and ready to use.
