The Pelican 1491 three-piece foam set replaces or upgrades the interior of a Pelican 1491 protective case. It supplies a complete liner kit that transforms the empty shell into a fitted equipment vault for cameras, electronics, instruments or tools. The kit suits field technicians, survey crews and broadcast teams who need gear organised and cushioned against heavy handling in transport.
Each set includes a convoluted lid panel, a pluckable middle layer and a solid base pad. The lid foam grips the top of stored items while the middle layer lets you cut custom cavities by removing pre-scored cubes to match each piece of kit. The base pad provides a firm floor so nothing bottoms out under vibration or impact. Installing the set takes minutes: peel the scored cubes, press the layers in place and load the case. The open-cell structure resists moisture absorption and holds its shape after repeated packing cycles.
