Field technicians and maintenance crews reach for this foam set when a standard Pelican 1721 protective case needs internal organisation. The kit replaces the empty cavity with a three-piece layered arrangement that can be tailored to the exact outline of each instrument, keeping calibration gear, diagnostic modules or hand tools from shifting during transport across rough site roads.
Each layer uses a pick-and-pluck grid so the user removes only the cubes required for a snug fit, leaving the surrounding foam intact for sidewall support. The convoluted lid layer grips the top face of the load while the base and middle sections cradle the sides and bottom, distributing impact loads evenly. Because the foam is cut on site, the same case can be reconfigured when the toolkit changes, avoiding the cost of dedicated inserts for every new contract.
Supplied as a three-piece set comprising base, middle and convoluted lid layers. Suits the Pelican 1721 case interior dimensions.
