Underground mining and tunnelling crews need reliable hands-free light that stays put on a hard hat through vibration, water ingress and long shifts. The Pelican 2755C LED upgrade head torch is built for that environment, clipping securely to helmet brackets so the beam follows the operator's line of sight without a separate strap system.

The LED module replaces older incandescent lamps with a whiter, longer-running beam that cuts through dust and moisture without the yellow tint that fatigues eyes over twelve-hour rotations. A simple rotary switch operates with gloved hands and the sealed housing shrugs off the spray and mud common in decline development and shaft sinking. Because the unit mounts directly to the helmet, there is no elastic band to stretch, snap or catch on timbering and services, reducing the risk of the light being knocked off at a critical moment.

Yellow housing improves visibility in low light and makes the unit easy to locate in a gear bag or tool crib. The LED upgrade extends battery life and removes the need to carry spare globes, cutting consumable cost and pack weight for FIFO crews and contractor teams working remote headings.
