Field technicians and logistics crews fit this over-moulded handle to a pelican case when the original grip wears out or when a crew member needs a more secure hold during daily transport. The black finish matches the standard case colour and the moulded profile sits flush against the body, so it does not snag on door frames or rack shelving when the unit is moved through tight corridors or loaded onto service vehicles.
Installation uses the existing mounting points on the 1470 and 90 models, so no drilling or extra hardware is required. The rubberised over-mould reduces hand fatigue during long carries and stays tacky when gloves are wet or oily, which is common on marine decks, mining sites and outdoor broadcast jobs. Because the handle locks in the upright position, it also acts as a convenient tie-down point when the case is strapped to a ute tray or pallet.
