Description and applications
The SECUPRO 625 is a squeeze grip safety knife built for professional cutting. It has an aluminium handle and a long lever that releases the blade, and the blade retracts fully by itself as soon as the cut is finished, which keeps the exposed edge away from hands and packaging.
The cutting depth is 21 mm, so it handles thick and tough material in one pass. Typical jobs include three ply cardboard, plastic strapping band, bagged goods, rubber, leather, PVC, carpet, textile, stretch and shrink wrap, felt and tape. The blade is a rounded tip trapezoid blade with two cutting edges, and it can be changed without any tools.
A safety lock holds the blade in place when the knife is not in use, and a lanyard hole lets the knife be tethered at height or in a vehicle. The grip suits both right and left handed users, and the knife can take ceramic blades as well as the standard steel blade.
