Description and applications
The system is a horizontal lifeline anchorage designed for use by up to four workers simultaneously. It features a continuous cable run that allows for uninterrupted movement across multiple spans. Stanchions are positioned to support the line and can also function as single-point tie-off locations. The design enables one-person setup and takedown without requiring access to the beam from above.
It safeguards against fall hazards by maintaining a secure connection point for personal fall arrest equipment. The integrated tension indicator helps ensure proper fall clearance is maintained during use. Energy absorbers are included to reduce impact forces in the event of a fall. All components work together to meet safety requirements for elevated work environments.
Common applications include steel erection, concrete formwork, and industrial maintenance where overhead anchorage is limited. The system can be attached to structural steel, concrete inserts, or reinforcing bars using appropriate hardware. Interchangeable bases allow the same stanchions to be used on both steel and concrete surfaces. This adaptability supports efficient reuse across different job sites and project phases.
- Supports up to four workers at once
- Includes tension indicator for fall clearance
- Stanchions serve as single-point anchorages
- Bases interchangeable between steel and concrete
