Description and applications
Liquasweep is a loose absorbent made from natural sea sponge. Sprinkle it over a spill, brush it through with a broom and it draws the liquid into the granules, then sweep it up. One 22L bag can take up as much as 22L of liquid.
It is not limited to oil. The same bag deals with fuel, solvent, paint, acid and alkali spills, which makes it a handy all round absorbent for workshops, factories, loading docks and vehicles that carry chemicals.
Even when fully loaded the granules stay dry to the touch and keep a free flowing texture, so they are easy to shovel and bag. Because the used absorbent does not leach, it can go to a suitable landfill once it has been checked against local rules. A good bag to keep in trucks for road transport spills.
