Stratex marine booms are built to soak up hydrocarbon liquids while pushing water away. Each unit features a tough mesh sleeve that guards against snags and an inner rope that adds tensile strength when sections are joined. The core is filled with premium meltblown polypropylene that locks in oil, fuel, solvents, petrol and diesel without sinking, even when fully saturated. Four booms come in a pack, each measuring 125 millimetres in diameter and three metres long, ready for rapid deployment.

These booms handle spills from generators, earthmoving plant, boats, barges and dredges operating near water. Because they float continuously, they form a reliable barrier that stops slick spread in streams, rivers, lakes and during wet weather on land. The hydrophobic fill ensures only the target hydrocarbons are captured, leaving water behind and maximising absorbent capacity for the contaminants that matter.

Deployment is straightforward thanks to simple clip locks that connect multiple lengths into a single continuous boom.
