The unit includes two self-closing doors with adjustable hydraulic closures to ensure they shut reliably after use. Internal shelves are perforated and height-adjustable, allowing flexible organisation of stored materials. Ventilation is provided through two bungs equipped with flash arresters to manage vapour buildup safely. The cabinet is finished with a solvent-resistant yellow powder coating for long-term protection against chemical exposure.

It protects against the risks associated with storing hazardous materials such as alkaloids, arsenic compounds, cyanides, mercury, phenol, and trichloroethylene. The overlapping door edges and liquid-tight sump help prevent the escape of vapours and contain any accidental spills. A three-point latching system keeps the doors securely closed, reducing the chance of unauthorised access or accidental opening. The recessed handle and keyed lock provide controlled access, with two keys included for authorised personnel. An external earth connection and bonding wire help prevent static discharge, which is critical when storing flammable or reactive substances.

This cabinet is intended for indoor use in laboratories, workshops, manufacturing facilities, and educational institutions where toxic substances are handled. It is delivered palletised and packaged in protective cardboard to prevent damage during transit. Optional extra shelves are available to increase storage capacity as needed. Rubber feet are included to stabilise the unit and protect flooring. The cabinet displays appropriate hazard decals, including the toxic substance diamond, to warn users of the contents.
