Description and applications
This Ultracharge lead belongs to the Tradesman Series, the extra heavy duty range made for construction sites and busy workshops. It is 30 m long, which covers long runs on bigger sites, from a temporary board out to scaffolds, fences and outbuildings, and it is rated for use both indoors and outdoors.
The cable is a 15 A rated PVC lead with 1.5 mm² conductors, fitted with a standard 10 A plug and socket for 240V AC. A shielded socket protects the connection, and an LED power indicator shows at a glance that the lead is live. The orange cable is easy to spot on the ground, and the plug and socket are clear. A cable tidy is included to keep the lead neatly coiled between jobs.
Keep the total load within the 10 A rating of the plug, uncoil the lead fully before use, and run it where vehicles cannot crush it and water cannot pool around the connection. Leads used on construction sites need regular inspection, testing and tagging in line with site rules.
