Description and applications
This glove is designed for hand protection in environments requiring resistance to chemicals, abrasion and heat. It features a granular nitrile coating that enhances grip without compromising flexibility. The cotton interlocked liner provides a soft, comfortable layer against the skin during extended wear. An elasticated cuff with a pull tab ensures a secure fit and makes donning and doffing easier.
It is certified to EN388:2016 and AS/NZS 2161.3:2006 for protection against mechanical risks including abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture. The glove also meets EN374-1:2016 standards for defence against a range of chemicals, making it suitable for handling hazardous substances. Additionally, it conforms to EN407:2004 for protection against thermal risks such as radiant heat, convective heat and small splashes of molten metal.
At 60cm in length, the glove offers extended coverage up the forearm for added protection in splash-prone or deep-tank operations. The design seals effectively against the skin to prevent ingress of liquids or particulates. It is supplied in packs of six pairs, with cartons containing forty-eight pairs for bulk handling. The construction balances durability with dexterity for demanding industrial tasks.
