Description and applications
This storage unit is built for holding dangerous goods that can cause severe damage to materials or living tissue. It features a double-walled steel construction with a protective finish to resist chemical exposure. The design includes a self-closing door mechanism that ensures the cabinet shuts automatically after use. Internal components are made from corrosion-resistant materials to maintain integrity over time.
It provides protection against leaks, spills, and vapour release from stored acids, alkalis, and other corrosive liquids or solids. The cabinet contains a liquid-tight sump at the base to capture any accidental discharge. Ventilation points are fitted with flame arrestors to prevent ignition of flammable vapours. Shelves are adjustable and include spill trays to contain minor leaks.
The unit is intended for fixed placement in workplaces where hazardous substances are handled, such as chemical processing areas or maintenance workshops. It is not designed for wear or personal carry but for stationary installation on level floors. Earth connection points allow for static discharge to reduce ignition risk. Optional internal shelving can be added to suit specific storage needs.
