This storage unit is designed specifically for holding corrosive materials in liquid or solid form, meeting Australian safety standards for dangerous goods. It features a robust double-walled construction made from thick galvanised steel to resist chemical degradation. The cabinet includes three adjustable shelves that can be repositioned in set increments to accommodate various container sizes. Ventilation is provided through two capped bungs equipped with flash arresters to manage vapour buildup safely.

The cabinet protects against leaks, spills, and vapour release from hazardous corrosive chemicals such as sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide, and bleach solutions. Its liquid-tight sump at the base contains any accidental discharges, preventing contamination of surrounding areas. Overlapping door edges and a continuous piano hinge help maintain a tight seal, reducing the risk of vapour escape. The self-closing doors ensure the cabinet remains shut even if left unattended.

It is commonly used in laboratories, workshops, manufacturing plants, and maintenance facilities where corrosive substances are handled or stored. The unit can be secured with a keyed lock and includes an external earth connection for static dissipation. Optional extra shelves are available to increase storage capacity. The entire unit is packaged on a pallet with protective cardboard for safe delivery and storage.
