Description and applications
This lanyard is designed as a double leg elasticated system with integrated hardware for secure attachment. It features an extended length energy absorber to manage fall forces safely. The webbing is constructed from high tenacity polyester with UV resistance for durability in outdoor conditions. Stitching is performed using computer controlled bar tacking to ensure consistent strength and reliability. The THETA stitch pattern is engineered to match the webbing strength, eliminating weak points in the assembly. All components are designed and manufactured to meet Australian safety standards for personal fall protection equipment. The hardware includes a double action karabiner and a scaffold hook, both drop forged from steel alloy for strength and corrosion resistance. These connectors are sized to suit standard anchorage points and harness attachment loops. The system is rated to support a maximum user weight of 140kg including tools and equipment. It is certified to AS/NZS 1891.5:2020 ensuring compliance with national safety requirements.
