Description and applications
This lanyard features an elasticated design that extends to 1.85 metres under load, reducing trip hazards by staying close to the body when not stretched. It incorporates an extended length energy absorber to manage fall forces for users up to 140kg including tools. The webbing is made from high tenacity polyester with UV resistance for durability in outdoor conditions. Stitching uses computer-controlled bar tacking with a unique THETA pattern for consistent strength and reliability.
The energy absorber activates during a fall to limit impact forces on the body, helping prevent serious injury. It is engineered to match the webbing strength so no weak point exists in the system. The THETA stitch pattern delivers strength equivalent to the webbing, ensuring uniform performance. This design minimises elongation while maintaining fall arrest effectiveness.
Designed for use in scaffolding, steelwork, and general construction where mobility and fall protection are both required. The hardware includes a triple action karabiner and a double action scaffold hook for secure attachment to anchor points. Australian engineering ensures compliance with local safety standards. The lanyard is built to withstand harsh site conditions while maintaining user safety.
- Elasticated webbing reduces snag and trip risk
- Energy absorber limits fall impact forces
- THETA stitching matches webbing strength
- UV resistant polyester for outdoor durability
