Organic Peroxide Storage Cabinet

This storage unit is designed specifically for holding organic peroxides in either liquid or solid form. Internal features include a perforated shelf that can be adjusted in small increments to suit different container heights.

The cabinet protects against hazards associated with organic peroxides, including thermal decomposition and pressure buildup. Ventilation points are fitted with flash arresters to prevent flame propagation while allowing gas release. Magnetic door catches ensure doors stay shut under normal conditions but release automatically if internal pressure rises. Overlapping door edges help block heat transfer and maintain internal stability.

It is intended for use in indoor environments such as labs, workshops, or chemical storage areas where organic peroxides are handled. The low-profile design allows placement under work benches to save floor space. A liquid-tight sump at the base contains spills, and an external earth connection supports static dissipation.
