Description and applications
This cabinet is designed for the secure storage of oxidizing agents in both liquid and solid forms. It meets Australian safety standards for handling hazardous materials. The unit features a low profile under-bench configuration for space efficiency. Construction uses double-walled galvanised steel for durability and containment.
Doors are self-closing with hydraulic closures that allow speed adjustment for controlled shutdown. A continuous piano hinge ensures smooth operation and long-term reliability. Overlapping door edges help prevent heat ingress during nearby incidents. Shelf height can be adjusted in 45mm increments to accommodate various container sizes.
Ventilation includes two 50mm bungs with steel caps and integrated flash arresters to safely release pressure. A liquid-tight sump at the base contains spills up to 150mm deep. The exterior has a solvent-resistant yellow powder coating for chemical and UV protection. An external earth connection and bonding wire prevent static discharge risks.
