The high-visibility red colour keeps the wearer seen in busy fabrication bays and on outdoor construction spreads where mobile plant moves constantly. It sits alongside safety glasses, nitrile gloves and a hard hat as core ppe supplies for any crew running arc or gas processes.
The jacket cuts radiant heat and blocks spatter from MIG, TIG and stick welding without the weight of traditional leather. Long sleeves with adjustable cuffs seal out slag while the stand-up collar protects the neck when the hood is down. Front press-studs release fast if a piece of hot metal lodges inside, and the cut allows full shoulder rotation for overhead fillets and tight root passes.
