Single Webbing Lanyard

The lanyard is constructed from durable polyester webbing designed to withstand demanding work environments. It features reinforced loop ends with abrasion-resistant covers to reduce wear from frequent connection and disconnection with hardware. An integrated energy-absorbing pack is located at the harness connection point to help manage impact forces during a fall. The design allows the lanyard to remain compact when not in use, reducing trip hazards on the work site.

It protects the user by limiting the forces transmitted to the body during a fall arrest event, working in conjunction with a compliant full body harness. The energy absorber activates under load to extend deceleration distance and reduce peak impact. This helps prevent injury by keeping arrest forces within safe biomechanical limits. The lanyard is intended only for use as part of a certified fall arrest system.

It is commonly used by personnel working at height where fall protection is required, including those accessing roofs, scaffolds, or elevated work platforms. Suitable applications include cherry picking, stock picking, and general maintenance on structures. The lanyard connects to the front or rear D-ring of a harness and is secured to a certified anchor point using the scaffold hook. It meets the requirements of AS 1891.5:2020 for fall arrest equipment.
