Type 3 Rescue Retrieval Inertia Reel

The device is a height safety tool designed to assist in the retrieval of personnel after a fall has been arrested. The reel comes with 20 metres of wire rope made from galvanised steel with a 4.5mm diameter, suitable for vertical access tasks. It is intended for use with the ZBR800 universal mounting bracket to secure it to tripods or fixed anchorage points. The product meets the requirements of EN 360:2002 and EN 1496:2017 Class B for fall arrest and rescue equipment. It also complies with AS/NZS1891.3 1997, ensuring suitability for Australian and New Zealand work sites. Common applications include tanks, manholes, and other vertical entry points where confined space access is required. It supports standby rescue scenarios and technical rescue operations where controlled load management is essential.
