This cabinet is designed for the secure containment of hazardous liquids and solids classified as corrosive under international standards. It features a robust double-walled construction made from thick galvanised steel to resist chemical degradation. The unit includes three adjustable shelves that can be repositioned in regular increments to accommodate various container sizes. Ventilation is provided through two capped bungs equipped with flash arrestors to manage vapour buildup safely.

Access is controlled via two self-closing doors that latch securely at three points, ensuring they remain shut unless intentionally opened. The doors are fitted with hydraulic closers that regulate closing speed to prevent sudden impacts. A continuous piano-style hinge runs the full height of the doors, providing durability and smooth operation. Overlapping door edges help block external heat and maintain internal stability.

Safety features include a recessed handle with a keyed lock and two keys for authorised access only. An external earth connection point allows for grounding to prevent static discharge risks. The base contains a deep liquid-tight sump to contain spills or leaks. The interior surfaces, including shelves and door mechanisms, are treated with an additional protective powder coating to enhance resistance to corrosion over time.
