Description and applications
The Badger is a lightweight pole stretcher for emergency response at workplaces, industrial sites and events. It is a practical choice where a team needs a stretcher that is quick to deploy and easy to carry, and it is listed with the TGA under registration 304968.
The frame is aluminium, so it stays light while remaining strong, with comfortable hand grips at each end. The cover is polyethylene coated nylon that shrugs off blood and body fluids, resists mildew, and wipes clean afterwards. Opened out, the stretcher is 215 long, 52 wide and 13 high in centimetres, with a safe working load of 159kg.
Quick-lock patient restraints are included. The stretcher folds twice for compact storage, and it comes with a protective carry bag made from the same coated nylon, fitted with long handles so it can be grabbed and taken to the scene in an emergency.
