Description and applications
The Bandit Scoop Stretcher is made for moving patients with suspected spinal injuries, hip injuries and accident victims without log-rolling them. Avoiding that manoeuvre reduces movement of the cervical spine.
The whole stretcher is aluminium, and its length can be changed to suit different patient sizes, with sturdy metal locks that hold up in an emergency. It splits at either end, or at both ends, so it can be positioned around the patient, and the surface does not absorb fluids, which makes cleaning simple.
Quick-lock patient restraints are included, and the stretcher folds lengthways for storage. It has a safe working load of 159kg. It is also compatible with the RSB131 Fast Aid Hawk Basket Stretcher.
