Description and applications
The VersaLite carry sheet is a portable stretcher for moving a patient a short distance where a rigid stretcher will not fit. It works well in busy pedestrian areas such as shopping centres, stations and event venues, and in confined spaces like stairwells and narrow corridors.
It is also handy for getting a patient who cannot move on their own onto a stretcher, or for shifting them from a stretcher to another surface. The sheet measures 210 (L) x 75 (W) cm and carries up to 159kg.
The sheet is made from tough PVC that wipes clean and resists blood, body fluids and mildew. It is also fire retardant. Ten flexible, comfortable handles let several people lift the patient and move them safely, and when the job is done the sheet packs into the carry bag that is included, ready to be stored on site or in a response vehicle.
