Description and applications
The EzyNek is a one-size adjustable cervical collar for adult patients. It is used to help immobilise a patient before they are extricated, which suits first aiders and responders dealing with a suspected neck injury.
An oversized trachea hole gives access at the front and the back, so pulse checks are straightforward, and soft foam padding lines the inner sides to keep the patient comfortable. Push locks set the height, and guide tracks help keep it level all the way round.
The collar is 57cm long and opens to 15cm at the back. Because one size covers every adult, it is simple to keep in a first aid room, vehicle or emergency kit without needing to carry several sizes.
