Description and applications
The R2 Plumbers and Gasfitters kit is put together for tradies in plumbing, gasfitting and HVAC, on low or high risk worksites. It is described as compliant for workplaces of 1 to 25 people, and the kit is listed with the TGA under registration 128314.
The contents are chosen for injuries common in those trades. There are plasters, dressings, bandages, burn gel, eye wash, wound wipes, an instant cold pack, a resuscitation face shield, scissors and splinter forceps. Two extra modules cover burns and outdoor risks, with a colour guide to snake and spider bites, and the items are colour coded for fast selection.
The case is a red fabric soft pack with a tough water-resistant backing and fold out inner compartments, so it travels easily in a work van. A reflective strip on the outside shows up in low light, and a wall mount bracket is included so the kit can hang in the workshop or on site.
