Polypropylene Corrosive Substance Storage Cabinet

This storage unit is constructed entirely from white polypropylene, providing a durable and chemically resistant enclosure for hazardous substances. The material is selected for its ability to withstand prolonged exposure to aggressive liquids without degradation. All structural components, including walls, floor, roof and doors, are made from the same 15mm thick polypropylene to ensure uniform protection. The design avoids any metal parts internally or externally to prevent corrosion and contamination. It features a low-profile form factor that allows placement beneath standard laboratory benches. The cabinet includes two separate compartments, each with its own door, to enable safe segregation of incompatible substances such as acids and bases. Each door is fitted with a rebated edge to create a seamless, flush appearance when closed. Spring-loaded hinges ensure the doors close automatically and latch securely after use. The handle incorporates a key lock and an internal release mechanism for added safety and convenience. A liquid-tight sump is integrated into the base to capture any accidental spills or leaks. All joints between panels are sealed using plastic welding to maintain integrity and prevent seepage. Ventilation kits are provided for optional installation to manage vapour buildup. The unit is delivered palletised in protective packaging with all safety labels pre-applied. Four rubber feet are included to stabilise the cabinet and protect flooring. Additional shelves can be purchased separately to increase storage capacity as needed.
