Single Leg Shock Absorbing Adjustable Lanyard

This lanyard is designed for single leg use and features an adjustable length range from 0.9 metres to 2 metres. It includes integrated hardware such as snap hooks at both ends for secure attachment to anchor points and harnesses. The webbing is constructed from high tenacity polyester yarn with UV resistance to withstand prolonged outdoor exposure. Stitching is performed using computer controlled bar tacking equipment to ensure consistency and durability across all seams.

The lanyard incorporates an Extended Length Energy Absorber (ELEA) that activates during a fall to reduce impact forces on the user. This energy absorber is engineered to safely manage the kinetic energy generated by a worker weighing up to 150kg, including any tools or equipment they may be carrying. The absorber extends controllably to decelerate the fall, minimising peak force transmitted to the harness and body. This function is critical in preventing injury during arrested falls in vertical or near-vertical work environments.

Manufactured in Australia, the product meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1891.5:2020 for fall arrest systems. The webbing has a tenacity rating of 33kN, and the unique THETA stitch pattern provides matching strength to eliminate weak points in the assembly. All hardware components are drop forged for enhanced strength and resistance to deformation under load. The combination of materials, stitching, and energy absorption ensures reliable performance in demanding industrial and construction settings.
